Stonehouse to Mt Lofty

I've had to cancel this walk twice previously due to extreme weather and family circumstances, so third time lucky  

Lovely long hike along the Yarra River. 

This will be a medium to fast paced hike with some steep hills and a total elevation of 600m over 20.5kms. 

Meet at Wittons Reserve car park (end of Reserve rd) at 7.30am for a car shuffle. (Bear in mind that there is a slight detour on Jumping Creek rd.)

Three cars will drive everyone to the Stonehouse cafe in Warrandyte where we’ll begin hiking at 8am.

We should be finished by 3pm at Wittons reserve where we'll drive the remaining cars back to the Stonehouse cafe. 

Optional coffees at Stonehouse. 

Hiking poles are highly advisable as well as sun protection and wet weather gear depending on the forecast. 

Byo morning tea, lunch and plenty of water. 

No toilets except at the 4km mark at Jumping Creek and at the end at the Stonehouse. 

Should be a great walk.
