Bunyip State Park (4 brothers rocks)

Lovely circuit walk through mountain-ash and stringy bark forests with tree ferns and grass trees.

Starting at the picnic ground we head east to Reids Track then steeply down Two Dams track for morning tea. Continue uphill along Helmet Track to Burgess Road and walk along the ridgeline for 3kms until we arrive at 4 brothers rocks for lunch. Go down Rankins Track which is fairly steep in parts. Through creek gully, open forests and helipad area back to the cars.

Mainly good open walking tracks.  Some steep sections with loose stones. Can be muddy and slippery if recent rain.  Mainly up before lunch and down after.

Joint walk with Koonung.
